I have a question? Law of Conservation of Matter says matter can neither be created nor destroyed. How then can an explosion cause a universe? And also an explosion = combustion, which = burning. So wouldnt the all the universal matter still be burning. Science discredits its self.
Science actually originated in Christianity, as the search for understanding of God and His mysteries. God made the laws of physics, humans were left to establish machines and chemical compounds. Just FYI
@huntwds Consider if a 21st century group went back in time with just the limited amount of tech our science provides. They could restart hearts,replace organs,restart breathing,talk across great distances,fly,breath under water,automatic weapons,smart bombs,nuclear weapons,Hersey bars,TV,youtube,PC’s.laptops,the Pontiac G8(what a car),spacecraft,metals,meds,the list is huge.
The Adam and Eve myth is not viable due to the limit of genetic diversity. One speculation is that the Earth once became so cold that nearly all human life died.There could have been as few as 50,000 individuals remaining.How did they arrive at this number?Current diversity of genetic code allows this as a minimum number.So it is possible that 6 billion humans came from a smaller number but it was not 2.

@xxRockst4r I agree with your point,this concept and many others make it difficult to believe in an all knowing/caring God as the source of our creation,as described in the bible.There may be an advanced race or being that is so advanced and could be the source of the Universe creation but would this being be the bible God,who could know?

I simply cited what the scientific standard is, you’ve come to the conclusion on your own that unless there is a physical cause to all things physical then that which caused the physical universe can never be found. That’s a typical presupposition from an atheist worldview. We know that scientists disagreeing is a circle of intellectual debate hoping for evidence to rise to the top, but some things like the law of causality are NOT debated by logical minds.

@huntwds God never created us so that we can fail. God gave us free will to obey. in the garden of Eden, Adam and eve were given only one command. not to eat the fruit from the tree. God has the power to just not make them eat it but because He loves us, he gave us our own thinking and decision. it’s ourselves who brought sin to this world, not God. we chose to disobey God and to fall away from Him. but the good news is God gave/gives/will give us multiple “second chances”. God is good.

plus the Bible speaks of an afterlife, that we go “somewhere” when we die. It’s simple: you either follow God and obey Him, or you’re against Him and go to hell( depending on the situation). You’re not forced to do either of the above; it’s ur own choice. God gave us all the superior freedom of free will. According to science, however, there’s no hope. When we die…………WE DIE! We just cease to exist. WOW! That’s some hope Dr. Hawking lol.
