@ighforever No NO NO, ok, just no, first you must accept and get over the fact that there is people that do not believe what you believe, for us GOD IS NOT, there is nothing like that, it does not matter how much you are sure that god exists, for me and many more people the simple concept of god is a lie, you can tell we are going to hell, and that we are sinners, and that god forgive us( very “respectful”), but as soon as it becomes disrespectful to you then it is not ok

@ighforever You don’t have to respect the beliefs themselves, but you have to respect their right to have those beliefs. That’s the only way we can all live in harmony.
@ighforever I am not disrespecting God or anyone. Disbelieving is not disrespecting because you have to believe in something first to disrespect it. And your ramblings don’t make any sense. You simply don’t know what you’re talking about so I’m not going to argue with you. I respect the right of Christians to believe whatever they want so why can’t they extend Atheists the same courtesy?

God exists because all that is was made by him, all evidence points to that. No evidence points to billions of years of the age of the earth. Nothing points to many millions of years of death and struggle and change and some kind of intelligent body part that completely understands its body and its environment and make changes in the next generations to fit its environment better. It just isnt there. All that is God made.
@ighforever First of all, Atheism is a set of beliefs, it is a LACK of belief in God. And we cannot make a case for that without mentioning God because Atheism is a RESPONSE to claims that God exists so doing so would be impossible. If there weren’t people claiming that God exists in the first place, there would be no reason or way to reject those claims. And we’re still waiting for Theists to make a case for THEIR beliefs.

Well in order to explain why I am an atheist I have to mention God because atheism is solely the lack of belief in a God. I can’t explain why I don’t believe in The Loch Ness Monster without mentioning The Loch Ness Monster.
I am an atheist because I do not believe in anything supernatural. I think anything that we can’t explain scientifically is something our minds haven’t figured out yet and using God as an explanation doesn’t survive even a casual cross examination.

@ighforever Atheists don’t hate God and they just don’t believe the existence of God. How can you hate something that doesn’t exist, at least in this case? What atheists are really just reasoning and offense to religion which they think it’s unreasoning. You have to understand the attitude of atheist, just like science or philosophy, is that we know so little about the world/universe and nothing in it is for sure. However, you religious people are always so certain about the truth of everything.

Religion is the worship of a deity. Atheists do not believe in deity. And most atheists, I believe, see no value in atheism itself. We see value as people able to think by themselves. If someone wants to believe in a god by himself, it is going to be much more valuable than doing so because of a religion. I don’t want you to think like me. I want you to think. Period. Just like most atheists.
