Essentially not much difference between the religious zealot and the atheist. Both mindlessly base their lives on a faith(in god or not in god) and are driven to hate other people that don’t subscribe to their belief system. They’re both extremely intolerant of other people that are different from them. They don’t have open minds and leave no room for any discourse that might make them see a point of view different from their own beliefs. Their beliefs differ but the net effects are same

Good grief. You better go check your name in, because nothing about what you say about atheists is rational. Have you actually read any of the literature out there, by Dawkins or Hitchens or Harris? You’ll see that your flippant comments about atheists “hating” and “being intolerant” and “close minded” are misplaced.

because these verses relate to TWO DIFFERENT SITUATIONS AND TWO DIFFERENT CHRISTIANS(JEWS ALSO) read history, it was the pagans, jews, christians who INVITED MUHAMMAD TO MEDINA TO ARBITRATE AMONGS THEM, no!!! they didn’t all convert either, but they RECOGNIZED AND RESPECTED his position nontheless, as for those not to take as friends were those who muslims had shaky terms with, whom many secretly worked with the enemy not only endangering the muslims but others as well

it is not permissible for a muslim women to marry jew/christian (although some do it anyway some even argue its an intepretation) is that muslim women have many rights given to them, and under a jewish/christian tradition these rights will be negatively affected, many of the rights the feminists and progressive christians are fighting for today were already established in the muslim world historically speaking, it was the colonists who took them away when they removed the sharia law

Please consider the following when reading the quran: dont read it like any other scripture, because it will only sound random and disjuncted, you have to prepare you mind to understand it and acknowledge the tafseer (quran study is a science!!!), the problem with translations is that each verse is treated as issolated verses, many translators and commentars mentioned this, so you have many translations with related verses grouped into paragraphs to make clearer understanding. that’s important

that is incorrect. the bible says once we are saved, we are slaves to righteousness. it also says, we are controled by the Spirit of God. galatians 5:13 warns us against your kind of thinking-”You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love” if someone claims to be a Christians, yet they are not bearing fruit, then they arent truly saved. when you accept Jesus, He become both savior and Lord.
