Personal experience testimony welcomed. Seems that all aggressive religion strains have three things in common:
1. they claim to be the only truth or at least the best purest truth
2. They claim to be the fastest growing religion in the world
3. They claim to be the only religion hated and persecuted by others
And if every religion rejects all other Gods isn’t that rather similar in some ways to the atheists’ position?
.
Michael Shermer and Dinesh D’Souza go toe-to-toe on some of the greatest issues related to science and religion: is there evidence for God’s existence, what is the proper relationship between science and religion, and has religion been a force for good or evil in the world?

A one-time Spanish-born priest who later became an evolutionary geneticist and molecular biologist and helped scientifically refute creationism with his research has been honored with one of the world’s top religion prizes.
“How Did You Lose Your Religion?” – Ricky Gervais @ Big Think. — Subscribe to Science and Reason: • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com — Question: How did you lose your religion? Ricky Gervais: Well, I love I love Jesus. You know, I believed in God. I think, my mom wanted me to. I think, for a working class woman, whos rushed off her feet, you know, the most she can hope for is the their son dont so they dont get killed in a bar room fight. And Jesus, I suppose, is an invisible, free babysitter, you know. If I cant see you, someones watching you. Which is obviously misplace. Very sweet, you know, but misplaced. And I was about 8 and I was I was doing something from the Bible and my brother came in, he was older than me, his name is Bob, still is, and he was about 19, and he said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m doing this for Jesus, God’. He said, ‘Why do you believe in God?’ And my mom went, ‘Bob!’, and I knew you. I knew then that she was hiding something from me and he was he was telling the truth. And I thought about it. And I was a bit of a scientist even then. You know, I could read really well by the time I was 3. I suppose I was a bit of an experiment cause I was the youngest by 11 years, you know. And I was into science and nature and I suppose I was a logical person. And I thought Yeah. But I learn it through body language. I learn it through that human [interplay] between this two people. The one was worried about what the other one was …
Being tax exempt is essentially government (tax-payers) financing religion; these groups get the same quality of security and infrastructure as tax-payers. Sounds like support for religion to me.
What about the abandoned churches that the government cannot confiscate, because no tax is overdue, that turn into havens for drugs? Ironic, but not if you truly understand the bloodsucking nature of religion on society.
Super(duper)natural leaders should be a able contribute to the society they intend to control.
Actually we (the government) are getting stuck twice. Until we add a sales tax on people buying their particular brand of religion, I won’t be happy.
I can’t help but notice that no matter who is running for what election, religion is always an issue. Why is it that a candidate’s religion always comes under fire by the press, specifically in presidential races?
Prince Vladimir chose the Easter Orthodox church for the one true religion but what else was he thinking about converting to? What are the different faiths and the central beliefs of each faith? Please help! It would be extremely appreciated!
